Character: At Solitude, a 6 acres organic farm started in 1996, we experiment with sustainable
agricultural methods. We have adopted practices from Masanobu Fukuoka (author of
“One Straw Revolution”) and Permaculture. We welcome people who staying with us,
from 1 to 6 months, who are passionate about sustainable farming and would enjoy
our dynamic community life. We do nursery work, transplanting, planting, harvesting,
occasional natural building, etc. It is also the location of Auroville's only organic
catering breakfast/lunch/snacks/salads/drinks/fresh vegan smoothies with
ingredients grown on the farm.
This is a serious educationnal project that needs help.
